Female Hormone Blood Test
Desire, energy, mood and cycle changes are influenced by a set of hormones that shift with age, stress and life stage — and they are measurable. This panel covers the oestrogen and pituitary hormones behind the cycle, thyroid function (a common and overlooked cause of low energy and low libido), prolactin, and the testosterone women also produce and need. One finger-prick sample, eleven markers.
You will be asked for your date of birth and mobile number at checkout — the laboratory labels every sample with your date of birth, and your results passcode is sent by text, separately from the report.

Frequently asked questions
When in my cycle should I test?
For a standard picture, days 2-5 of your cycle (counting the first day of your period as day 1) is the usual window. If your cycle is irregular or has stopped, you can test at any time — note the date so results can be interpreted in context.
Why is thyroid included in a hormone test?
Thyroid problems commonly present as low energy, low mood and reduced libido, and are easily mistaken for a sex-hormone issue. Measuring both together avoids chasing the wrong explanation.
Does this test cover perimenopause?
FSH, LH and oestradiol are the markers that shift as menopause approaches, and all three are included. They add useful context to symptoms, but perimenopause is diagnosed clinically — discuss your results with your GP.
