Blood Testing

A better sex life starts with your biology.

Libido, arousal, erectile function, energy and fertility are driven by hormones — and hormones are measurable. When something feels off, guessing is the slow way round. Testing is the short one.

Our tests are analysed by a CQC-registered, UKAS-accredited UK laboratory. Order online, collect a simple finger-prick sample at home, post it back free, and get a clear, private report of your numbers. Discreet plain packaging, start to finish.

We give you access to your data — not medical advice. These tests return accurate laboratory results and general information only. They are not a diagnosis, a treatment or a clinical opinion, and they are not a substitute for professional care. Always consult a qualified medical practitioner before acting on any result. No clinician reviews or comments on your results before they reach you. If a result falls outside the reference range, or you feel unwell, contact your GP — in an emergency call 111 or 999. You must be 18 or over to order.

Prostate (PSA) Blood Test
For men · Private prostate awareness

Prostate (PSA)

£95 · 3 markers

Free PSA, total PSA and the free/total ratio, measured privately at home.

PSA is not a cancer test. PSA can be raised by benign prostate enlargement, infection, recent ejaculation or cycling as well as by cancer, and a normal PSA does not rule cancer out. There is no NHS PSA screening programme. Any result outside range must be assessed by your GP.

Female Fertility Blood Test
For women · Including AMH — ovarian reserve

Female Fertility

£140 · 10 markers

Ten markers including AMH — an indicator of ovarian reserve, not a prediction of conception.

AMH indicates ovarian reserve (the remaining egg pool). It does not predict whether or when you will conceive, and a low result does not mean you cannot. Fertility assessment involves far more than blood markers — discuss results with a GP or fertility clinician.

Frequently asked questions

Who runs the laboratory?

Every sample is analysed by Sussex Pathology, a CQC-registered, UKAS-accredited UK laboratory. UKAS accreditation is the same standard used by NHS and private laboratories.

Is the finger-prick sample as accurate as a clinic blood draw?

For the markers in these panels, capillary samples are validated by our laboratory and analysed to the same accredited standard as a venous sample. Some specialist markers can only be measured from a venous (needle) sample; none of those are in this range, so every marker listed is one you will actually receive.

How private is this?

Kits arrive in discreet plain packaging with no clinical or brand markings on the outside. Your results are treated as confidential health data and delivered to you in a secure password-protected report. They are shared only with our laboratory partner in order to process your test, and otherwise never without your consent.

Will a doctor explain my results?

No. You receive your numbers against standard reference ranges, which is deliberately what this service is: access to your own data. It is not a diagnosis and not clinical advice — take anything outside range to your GP or a qualified clinician.

How long do results take?

Turnaround varies by panel, and we will confirm the expected time for your test when you order. We send your report as soon as the laboratory reports it. Post your sample back the same day you collect it so it reaches the lab in good condition.

Do I need to fast, or test at a particular time?

Hormones follow a daily rhythm, so a morning sample is best for every panel here. For female hormone and fertility testing, days 2-5 of your cycle give the most interpretable results.
