Testosterone Blood Test
Low drive, flat energy and softer erections all get blamed on stress or age. Testosterone is one of the few explanations you can actually measure. This is a proper measurement rather than a single figure: total and free testosterone, the proteins that bind it, and the ratio that tells you how much is genuinely available to your body.
You will be asked for your date of birth and mobile number at checkout — the laboratory labels every sample with your date of birth, and your results passcode is sent by text, separately from the report.

Frequently asked questions
Why measure free testosterone, not just total?
Most testosterone in your blood is bound to SHBG and albumin and is not available to your tissues. Two people with identical total testosterone can have very different free levels — which is the fraction linked to libido, energy and erectile function.
When should I take the sample?
Testosterone peaks in the morning. Collect between 7am and 10am, ideally fasted, for a result that can be compared meaningfully against reference ranges and against future tests.
Is this a diagnosis of low testosterone?
No. This test returns your numbers against standard reference ranges. It is information, not a diagnosis — take anything outside range to your GP or a qualified clinician.
